“ We were looking for food at midnight and was able to get burgers within 20 minutes. My wife get hers a little raw but turned it back in it came back fast, 7 minutes! Very delicious!!! ”
“ This is our second visit, we immediately recognized our previous staff that facilitated our experience. We knew the food was good, the location was prime with too much people watching , no really it was so nice withe shade trees and blocked off street. Ask for Michael, she was awesome. ”
“ Tavern on Jane in the West Village is a charming spot with an inviting tavern vibe. It’s the perfect spot to stop by for a beer or a glass of wine. The atmosphere, complete with a large counter and lively diners, is its standout feature. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the warm environment. I had the buffalo burger, which was cooked medium-rare to perfection—nice although lacking a hint of salt in my opinion and then, for my sweet tooth craving, I went for a dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream which was delish! The food is okay only not extremely memorable. Overall, it’s a great place to soak in the ambiance and enjoy good company. ”
“ I’m kinda conflicted. I loved the vibe, this is the type of neighborhood joint that has all but disappeared from NYC. It’s charming! Old school bar/tavern vibes, friendly folks and staff. Servers are working hard. My drink was awful, an Old Fashioned that came out with a weird orange color, not sure what happened there. My friend got a wine that was a generous pour and he enjoyed it. Mixed reviews on the entrees. My husband loved his daily special pork chop. My burger (I think it was called Santa Fe, with chilies on top)was poorly formed and a bit of a mess. Our friend’s Asian salad seemed ok. We didn’t love the apple crumb cake caramel dessert. I think we’ll be back to give it another try. Maybe I’ll stick to wine. They have a nice menu. ”
“ 8/24/24 back for dinner with the GF. We sat outside, great service. We split a bottle of white, nice. *No glass outside* We had the Smithfield Fries and split the Creekstone burger, they were out of Brussels sprouts so we got broccoli. I liked the Smithfield fries but the distribution of pork, cheese and other stuff could have been better than just piled on top. Also the fries are still on the short side.... The burger was really good. It's a cool place, certainly worth a meal. Beer selection is ok but nothing outstanding, mostly typical brews. Summer 2021: First time here, with friends. Service was great. We sat outside in the street tent, nice tables and chairs. I had the Jane street burger, it was good. The fries were small and battered, not my favorite preparation but they were ok. I'd prefer to have longer fries and not battered. The beer was good too. ”
